Baltimore Shows Up Big — A Heartfelt Night of Halal Connections on May 25

On May 25, 2025, the Proposal team brought the Halal Speed Dating experience to Baltimore, and the turnout warmed our hearts. Muslims from across Maryland, D.C., and Virginia came together to connect, laugh, and genuinely meet people who share the same goal — Nikah, not dating.

We were honored to welcome over 120 attendees, making it one of our most successful U.S. events yet. The Baltimore Muslim community showed incredible energy, unity, and faith, proving once again that when intention meets effort, amazing things happen.

A Night to Remember — Faith, Fun, and Real Conversations

Our Baltimore Halal Speed Dating event followed the same values that guide everything we do at Proposal: faith, respect, and sincerity. Each rotation gave participants a chance to introduce themselves in a modest, structured, and comfortable way — no awkward swiping, no small talk, just meaningful conversations.

Attendees appreciated the warmth and structure of the evening. For many, it was their first time attending a Halal matchmaking event — and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive. From shy introductions to shared laughter, the energy in the room reminded us how ready our community is for modern, Islamic, and intentional matchmaking.
